Yuko Watatani
creative direction, design
Born in Osaka, raised in San Francisco. Studied architecture at Kyoto Institute of Technology. She worked in graphic design, product development, and marketing in New York. After living in France for a year, she reunited with Hiroko and started Pompette (over a glass of wine).
Hiroko Kuwada
illustration, design
Born and raised in Hiroshima. Studied design at Kyoto Institute of Technology. She worked in a web design agency in Kyoto before becoming a freelance illustrator. She's known for her simple yet playful illustrations and refined style. She also runs an art class in a 100-year-old Japanese-style house in her hometown, Fukuyama.

THE COPYRIGHT OF ANY ILLUSTRATIONS PRODUCED BELONGS TO POMPETTE LLC.
THE PRICE OF THE ILLUSTRATION IS A ONE-TIME USAGE FEE OF THE COPYRIGHTED MATERIAL.
Therefore, the price of a commissioned illustration will be different depending on the medium and scope of use (i.e. main visual for a product or service vs. a one-off flyer).
If you wish to use the illustration beyond the agreed scope of use, please note that a secondary usage fee will apply.
A secondary usage fee is typically between 30% and 70% of the initial commissioned cost, depending on the medium and scope of use.
We do not transfer copyrights.
